I was in law enforcement for over 35 years. I was a police officer in New Jersey for over ten years and an FBI Agent for a little over 25 years. For 20 years of my time with the FBI, I was a trained crisis negotiator. I spent almost ten years in the Crisis Negotiation Unit (CNU). I responded operationally to crisis events such as prison riots, kidnappings, manhunts and other standoffs. I also completed a number of research projects that were developed into professional publication articles and presentations.
The last four years with the FBI were my most enjoyable, I was an instructor at the National Academy providing graduate level courses to hundreds of domestic and international law enforcement executives. In this role, I got to meet and work with hundreds of law enforcement officers from around the world. I probably learned much more than I taught others. Now I would like to continue doing this. I’m making myself and my material available to anyone willing to have me.
These aren’t lesson only based on my experiences. I include what I have learned from others and what I have studied from history. History is our greatest teacher and if you don’t believe me then look at the meme’s below and what those great men thought.
I don’t like lectures I like conversations. I try to make my presentations as interactive as possible. Everyone has experiences that others can learn from so I do what I can to make others share those experiences for everyone’s benefits.
Training should be fun. Some might disagree with that statement, but I believe the more you enjoy a presentation the more you will pay attention. The more you laugh the more oxygen you force into your lungs and the easier it is to stay awake.
While mainly focused on law enforcement many of my topics can be useful to others in the corporate or educational professions.
My fees are adjustable. I’m looking to make an impact not money. Contact me and I am certain we can work something out to our mutual benefit.
